Husonym is published by Fishtre Compagnie and supplied under a subscription agreement. This page sets out the principles governing its use. The full terms applying to your organisation are those of the subscription agreement concluded with us: contact@husonym.com.
What you are supplied with
Husonym is supplied as container images and Helm charts, which you deploy in your own infrastructure. The right to use it is granted for the duration of your subscription, on a non-exclusive and non-transferable basis, for your organisation's internal purposes.
The software is enabled by a signed license key, set in the
EE_LICENSE environment variable of both the API and the
worker.
Your data stays yours
The software runs in your infrastructure. We do not access, receive or host any of the data you process with it. License verification itself is offline: Husonym never contacts us, which is what makes air-gapped deployment possible.
Accordingly, in respect of the personal data you process using the software, you are the data controller and we do not act as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR.
Husonym is an anonymization tool. Whether a resulting dataset is legally anonymous under the GDPR depends on your data and your configuration, and remains your assessment.
Usage limits
Your agreement may set limits, encoded in your license key and enforced by the software: a maximum number of jobs, a maximum number of connections, or the connector types included.
Reaching a limit only prevents creating new resources: nothing already in place is affected, and no run in progress is interrupted. Write to us to raise a limit and we will issue a replacement key.
When a subscription ends
Husonym does not stop abruptly. It moves through four stages, each signalled in the interface.

Nothing is deleted. Once the grace period ends, creating and running jobs stops, but you keep access to all of your configuration and run history. You can still pause, cancel a run in progress and delete resources. Runs already under way are allowed to finish. Installing a renewed key restores full operation immediately, with no migration and no reconfiguration.
What you agree not to do
- circumvent, disable or tamper with the licensing mechanism, or use the software beyond the limits encoded in your key;
- share, publish or transfer your license key;
- redistribute, resell or make the software available to third parties as a service.
Intellectual property
The software and the intellectual property rights attaching to it remain the property of Fishtre Compagnie and its licensors. Your subscription transfers none of those rights to you beyond the right of use described above.
Certain third-party components incorporated into the software remain governed by their respective authors' licences.
